What's funny is how these people have been trained by the left to not only hate the 1%...but to believe the 1% are all on the right. I love free speech but many of the people in this movement are simply angry and are looking for someone to blame. Many are misinformed and are simply sheep for the left. Why don't they go after Soros...or Oprah...or NBA players...or Hollywood...or Buffet...or Al Gore...or Michael Moore...etc...? There are plenty of millionaires on the left but somehow they get a free pass. :dis: I would love to visit one of these protests and hold up a mirror with the words "Here's the Problem" written on it. Once again there's absolutely no personal accountability or responsibility on the left. Whether it's greed, race, discrimination, etc...it's NEVER their fault. The EXCUSE administration saga continues....:rolleye33:
Not only that, many of these protestors are trust fund babies attending prestigious (expensive) north eastern private colleges. They come from the 1%.
You are getting more and more liberal every day. The "ultra-rich" that you rail against keeps me employed and pays me a nice salary with great benefits. In turn, I show up every day and give them my best efforts. No one is screwing anyone. Obama's "pay their fair share" mantra is total BS. He's playing to the welfare class that he hopes will turn out in droves again to keep his sorry ass in office. You are the one being bamboozled here.
You aren't paying attention, these are not democratic part events. This is an up or down thing, not a left or right thing.
And you are getting more and more sheep-like, mindlessly in lock step with the radical right wing. You have brains, why don't you use them? No they don't. You work for a major corporation and you aren't getting paid what you are worth. In 1970, Corporate executives made 20 times what the corporate worker like yourself made. Today it is over 300 times the compensation. European executives make about 25 times. That money doesn't trickle down to you. It trickles up. Corporate greed is driving the huge salaries and golden parachutes, they are unchecked by the boards which are supposed to keep them under control. Corporate greed is driving the lobbying effort in Washington, so that your representatives work for corporate donations, not for their constituents.
I do agree with Red here, why should the government listen too or help those who don't have the power or money to lobby in DC? I think things are way out of proportion, not only that, recently we have started rewarding CEO's and others of failing corporations and companies. What kinda capitalism is that? Not trying to change things here it just popped into my head. I agree with you also, people should be mad, against Obama and this administration, he has given plenty of money to corporations, Bankers, Labor Unions, etc. He said he was the one between the people with the pitchforks and the bankers. He along with George Bush is part of the problem. If we still had capitalism the country would have been better off, capitalism isn't rewarding CEO's of failing companies, capitalism isn't bailing out, the government deciding who succeeds and who fails. Capitalism isn't government involvement in Fannie and Freddy.
