When you have absolutely no substance to your policies and no clue what you're doing you get desperate and resort to fear tactics.

This is the norm for the Democrats and already underway for 2012.

Get ready for more RACISM....OLD PEOPLE WILL DIE...THE EVIL RICH 1%...THE SKY IS FALLING "MANMADE GLOBAL WARMING"...

Same old crap but it works because we have a lot of stupid lazy people out there who like their government cheese.

If you don't like personal accountability and you never take responsibility then vote (D) when you reach the polls.

I'm glad we're having early winter weather in the northeast. Let those global warmers freeze their ass off. :D

again, anytime person X accuses person Y of being racist (especially in a context where person Y is a political opponent), the scoundrel is person X.

i think we can all agree that white folks are pretentious morons.

in fact i think this week i may go downtown and yell at those occupiers. i will tell them wassup. i will identify the ones that are there and dont believe in the cause, they just want to meet liberal girls. those guys are ok, i would do that. and i will ask questions of the others and figure out just how terrible they are at having any idea what is going on in the world.

Last night the Occupy Oakland "protest" turned in to a riot. Is this what we want? A bunch of violent mobs popping up all over the country to do what...... bitch about rich people?

Here is the description from the Occupy Wall Street facebook page:
"The Occupy Wall Street Movement is a global phenomena which is a continuance of the Arab Spring."

The Arab Spring..... in the United States? Seriously? That movement is busy moving already oppressive countries further into the Dark Ages. Why in the world would any American want that to happen here?

I'm really getting sick of these people.

i think one of the great tragedies of the universe is when people use the government to manipulate others. like for example if we made laws about CEO pay. if you dont like how much a ceo makes, then dont associate with his company. but no, you want the profits too, so you buy the stock and make money off his performance. and that is fine. and again, this is an internal issue for you and you and your fellow stockholders. it is NOT a political issue. you shouldnt use the force of the government to beat your will onto everyone else.

again, if a ceo makes a lot of money, just leave him alone. mind your own business. and if the business is literally yours because youa re a stockholder, then use the proper channels. but if the other stockholders do not agreee with you, too bad, they might actually want competent management and be willing to pay for it.

actually i think you are just ignorant of how business works. one of the reasons CEO often make crazy pay is because they want them to be willing to take risks with the company.

i am reading a book now about psychology and economics called "The Upside of Irrationality". it talks about how rewards work. if i offer you 100 dollars to stack some coins as fast as you can, you do a good job. but if i offer you a million, you stress and your performance suffers. but i offer you a million and get the best coin stacker and do not tie your pay to performance, you are free to relax and do your best. and this is why companies offer these huge packages to executives. they want them to do the best job possible while being happily rich and unstressed by making hard decisions that may or may not work for the company. and of course this may be a stupid strategy, who knows, the fact remains that is is their right to operate their businesses this way. its not a politlcal issue any more than if i own mcdonalds stock and hate the mcrib. i wouldnt come here and complain. i would try to convince my fellow stockholders to change the policy. if i thought it was hurting my profits.

but you have no idea if ceo pay hurts performance and your profits. you are not nearly sophisticated enough to look at it that way. all you know is some guy makes lots of money and you read the first rule of the liberal playbook.
