Trump fired Mana after a report leaked he had ties to Russia in 2016 anyway. Just like he fired Flynn for lying. But agian. I cant see how making money in Russia is now a crime.
I think the whole thing hinges on real estate deals. What is was fair market for those apartments sold to people connected to Russians? We'll see
that might be a defense for Trump but it sure isn't a defense for Manafort. and let's be real here....once Manafort was exposed as being financially on the hook from pro-Russian groups and after Manafort was at the center of changing the official Republican platform to taking a softer stance toward Russia as it pertains to the Ukraine, what else could he do? yeah, 18 days after the fact, almost three weeks after he learned that Flynn was potentially compromised. worse, he continued allowing Flynn to get intel briefings even after he learned from Sally Yates that Flynn was being paid as a foreign agent. And let's not forget Trump's asking Comey to "take it easy" on Flynn during the investigation. Why? It is when you launder the money here in the states by purchasing real estate with cash and generally paying a higher price for the real estate. One of those properties was in Trump Tower. After the revelation today that the FBI executed a pre-dawn raid on Manaforts home the day after he testified and knowing that the FBI used a search warrant means that the prosecutors had to convince the judges that there was probable cause for executing said warrant. I know this will not matter to you because facts do not matter to you. That said, this is as damning as anything else that Mueller and his team are following the money trail and they have found something significant enough to conduct the raid. On another note, it seems that Trump is forming sort of a pattern. If you'll watch he will say or do something very inflammatory right before a bombshell story about the Russia investigation is about to drop. It's almost humorous.
Wishful thinking. If what comes out of this is realestate deals then lord have mercy on the dems. Buckle up for another 4 years of MAGA.
