  5. Another brick falls into place. It will be interesting to see what comes from this. Manafort apparently the fulcrum of any dealings with Russia.

  9. Eh, I dont think so. As I read it, they thought the documents he turned over wasn't all of them. They didnt believe him. I find it hard to believe he had anything there. He paid for that house in cash money. I dont think what he initially gave them was worth a damn. Almost seems desperate.
  10. I'm pretty sure the FBI doesn't make hysterical decisions to raid the homes of people. The fact that he paid for that house with cash, along with other properties, is the subject of much interest from the Mueller team. Especially given the discovery of a ledger from a pro-Russian Ukranian group that detailed some 12 million dollars in cash payments to Manafort. So I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this as business as usual. Manafort and Flynn are likely to be indicted at the end of this investigation in my opinion. The depth of involvement from Trump and the rest of his clan will determine whether they are absolved or if they face some measure of punishment. At this point I think Trump is in much deeper political trouble than he is legally. That being said, if he is found to have committed a felony I do not think his office should spare him from the same punishment anyone else would get.

As an aside I was pleasantly surprised to hear Trump say that he now favors working with Democrats to fix the issues with the ACA rather than repealing it. This has seemed the most logical conclusion to me all along. If he does this and pulls it off he will gain some "cred" with me.
