I was thinking something along the same lines that perhaps his journey as a sperm seed started early in the 90's or late 80's. Other wise since 1970
up to 20Saban, LSU was in 16 Bowls, to include Orange X3 and Sugar X 2 with 2 Conf Championships. Hardly the data that quals as a "homecoming game".

I nominate this for the most idiotic post of the year. And, he posted it twice! He must have just wanted to make certain that everyone knows he's an idiot. Particularly so if his name is really bryan allen. That would be no brains bryan.

    Mrs. Saban? Is that you?
Ok, so LSU was struggling before Saban so I agree he knows how to rebuild a program. Miles does too though, considering the fact that before he went to Oklahoma State, they previously had only 1 winning season in the 12 years before. I would argue they were in way worse shape than LSU was when Nick got here. Guess what, like him or not, Miles is a great coach whether you and your couple of friends like him or not.

And btw - Miles is 2-2 vs. your husband.

And Miles won the most important one...the Last one.

There really should be a basic intelligence test given prior to posting privileges being granted.

Urban Meyer won more National Titles and had a better winning percentage than Steve Spurrier....

Without Steve Spurrier....there is no Urban Meyer at UF. Spurrier put florida on the map and paved the way for future success.

Nick Saban is the same way with LSU. From 1988-2001, UF beat LSU every year but one. LSU was literally a non factor on most schools schedules. LSU plays in a conference rich with tradition and rivalries. Is LSU anyones biggest rival?

UF - UGA, UT, FSU, Miami?
UGA - GT, Auburn, UF, Clemson, South Carolina
    Bama - Auburn, UT
Ole Miss - Miss St and vice versa
Arkansas - Maybe LSU but traditionally was Texas.

LSU won 5 confernce titles from 1936-1988. Let that sink in.

Comparing Nick Saban to Leslie Miles is absolutely laughable. Throwing some random 11 win year stats shows how ignorant you people really are. Count this stat....

    National Titles.

    5 conference titles from 1936-1988.

Some random "national title" in like 1959....other than that. Irrelevant on the national stage....until Nick Saban arrived and put LSU on the map.

Comparing Sabans job at LSU and Leslies job at Ok State shows how stupid you are.

Miles went 21-21 at Ok state.
Saban won a freakin National Title at LSU.....and Alabama

How are they random? You made the idiotic statement that LSU still plays in the same division as Alabama, implying that Alabama will always be better. So we look at RECENT history, since the history of the past 60 years means nothing when talking about right now.

Nobody cares about the past 100 years, dude. What's more important is recent history, so, in the past decade, LSU has been the better team. Why, you ask? Well, let's tally it up:

    Better overall record (110-31)
More head to head wins (8)
    More Conference Championships (3)
    More Bowl wins (8)
    More National Titles (2)

We get it, Saban put LSU back on the map. Big effing deal. He did the same thing with Alabama. Get over yourself and deal with the fact that LSU has simply been the better team than Alabama lately.
