Shit. Now I have to take my comment back. Hardy was the pilot in Dunkirk whose face you never saw. I thought he was phenomenal. Still not sure he's a Bond type but maybe.
He is an everything type, IMO. The diversity in the roles he plays is stunning. I have never received him as out of character.
Lol. I watch the Bond movie marathon on TCM every summer. There is Sean Connery, then there is everyone else. At least ahead of Brosnan and Dalton. I liked Roger Moore but he's in a totally different category for some reason.
