Dude at the end of the year, I stack up our line's with anyone in the country

After the Wilkerson injury, we came together...

the beginnign of the year, we were worthless... Barry Sanders couldn't have run throug hthe holes made in the Oregon St game

Did not say that wasn't the case. However I still say when JV could do nothing, AB and JA were moving the ball. So I personally don't think Saban pulled JV too soon but rather too late.

I also believe that since the line did not have to hold thier blocks forever while JV danced around looking for a corridor to run through the other backs just got to and through the line helping these guys out and thus everbody looked better.

Grant it there was some movinmg people around and all but the othe backs moved the ball better than JV when it was Apples to Apples.

That was last year this is now.

Justin already had a lot things to help motivate him during the offseason and in camp, now his roomate will be walking around on crutches and he'll be the main confidant for Alley. This should help propel JV even more IMO. I expect a bang up year from this young man.

I expect JV to have another big year... this o-line is very similar to the one in 2003... The wholes will be bigger and the blocks will be held longer, allowing Vincent to use his cutback style... However, Addai will be SEC player of the year.. He will be one of the top rushers in the league and the top recieving RB... Expect him to be first round material come april...

Joseph Addai would be deserving. Never acted up. Just showed up and gave 100% when called upon in a crowded backfield.

On another note I saw where Alley wanted to show his catching ability off this year. So more to come from AB next year.

Very sorry to hear of Broussard's injury... unfortunately, we know the feelin'.
It wasn't just the fact that he laid a little punishment on a few of our d-backs in the Cap1, it was his "energy".. the way he would pop right up and rub his hands together... like this is FUN.
Hopefully, the other returning starters will sense a "deeper fire" and make this a positive thing for the team.
Football is a "next man in" game and you guys will be fine with your depth... but I, for one, will miss seeing this guy run the ball.

In response to the quote above... Iowa's very first scrimmage was at full speed... I think a lot of teams go about it this way.

Hated to hear about this. As much as I want to beat you guys, it is a shame when a player gets hurt. The depth y'all have at running back will make the loss easier to accept from a team standpoint, but still a shame for Broussard.

One other thing, IF anyone beats y'all this year, don't start out the next sentence with IF Alley hadn't been hurt, ala' Bama fans last year. At one point, I thought Brodie Croyles' first name was IF.
