I am curious why not many mentions of Justin Vincent, the man was SEC and Sugar Bowl MVP...
I am very bummed about this though, but I am excited to see what JV, Addai and the boys will do....
Plus we get see him next year again...

Could we see one of our freshman running backs not redshirt in order to have a little more depth now?

He will make a full recovery, get a redshirt and come back for two years being a 30 carry a game RB.

Yeah, at least he'll be able to use that redshirt year...

Addai is certainly capable, and if JA was our only option at running back, I would still be excited about this upcoming season. Alley's injury is a big loss, but let's not loose sight of things--we STILL have the SECCG and Sugar Bowl MVP in our backfield! Not too shabby if you ask me!

Here's to a speedy recovery Alley! We'll need you next year, guy!

I understand what your saying but i remember when Addai had problems holding on to the ball. I hope he is over that and Vincent runs hard like he did in 2003.

All reports from camp say that Addai is as good as ever and Vincent looks in much better shape than last year. I think having Addai as the primary RB is actually a blessing, because he brings so much more versitility... What we will be missing however is a big bruiser... could Korte or Hester possibly be moved back to HB for short down and wear down situations?

This sucks big time for AB but i think our depth and experience with make up for it. We'll still have an awesome running game this year.

Korte's dad posts on tigerbait.com and said that his son will be seeing time at both fb and hb, like hester did last year... This guy makes me think of a Mike Alstott type runner.. I think he could take over short yardage duty this year with AB out..
