    This is a terrible loss.

But let me say this, while I am pissed we just lost one of our best players, I trust Joseph Addai with the football more than anyone on this team. Nothing against anyone as I love all the Tigers, But Addai earned my complete respect from the first time he stepped on the field. He doesn't talk sh*t, doesn't ask for any credit, does anything and everything that is asked of him (ex. the wideout experiment, special teams), is full speed every second of every play, and rarely fumbles or drops a pass out of the backfield.

I am very angry, and I feel for Broussard, But I have complete confidence that Addai, Vincent, and Carey will do everything they can to make him proud this season.

Here's to a quick and easy recovery for Alley!

The disappointment we feel is nothing compared to what this young man must be going through. Say a prayer or two for him. At least there's hope that Alley will have a year to heal up & two more years (Jr & Sr) to get back on track for a great finish to his LSU career & a chance to go on to a professional career. LSU hasn't heard the last from Alley Broussard. What a thrill it is watching him plow through defenses with that power. We'll have a year's wait to see it again. The slack from this loss will be picked up by the others, including the passing attack. No mistake about this, it's a HUGE loss for LSU, who cannot afford to lose another key back (Addai or Vincent) now. I hope this isn't an omen of things to come. LSU has been truly blessed in the injury department these past several years.

    Heres the thing...

Now they have a real reason to WIN IT ALL THIS YEAR.

    WIN FOR ALLEY!

If there ever was a time to get serious, its now.

We have to rely on Addai and Vincent... Which isnt exactly a bad thing, since they themselves can tear it up now and again as well...

    Very sour day...

i sent cgisclair an e-mail for Alley, and everyone else should too.

Lets not get down too much. I feel for Alley but if I had to choose someone to go to war with me, it would be Joe Addai. The guy is a hell of a football player. He has it all. Speed, Power, Agility, One of the best at catching the ball out of the backfield too.

I was looking so forward to seeing Alley tear up defenses, I was hoping it
would be similar to Cecil the Diesel vs AU.
I am so disappointed about this, so close to the beginning of the season!

But Scotty is right, I think its time for Joesph Addai to shine! :helmet:

sorry guys. As much as we talk crap to each other, and would love to beat each other...i feel for guys that are hurt in pre-season practices.

hopefully he'll come back next year even more determined to be a star in the SEC.
