I did yell from about 10 rows up from where it was happening 'What the hell are you doing, settle down and leave that man alone. Enjoy the game!"

Amazingly a thin blonde woman in LSU attire ran down and jumped between them and broke it up at about the same time.

I don't know why they were in each other's faces but there was no reason for them to be all over that old guy like they were. Even if the old geezer started it. :hihi:

Come on now, you and I both know these two must be the very same "few bad apples" we keep reading about this season. Otherwise, there would just be a whole lot of bad apples, right?

I would have thought after catching so much flack for beating on the bus windows they might lay low. Maybe these guys have something out for Tennessee folks. The Vandy boards were probably lit up this week with tales of two LSU roughs beating some old man and taunting him with his own dentures they just knocked out.

Any school can be the victim of having its image tarnished by these so called fans. I have seen post stating that the police are out numbered, that late games give more time for fans to get drunk, and that there isn't anything that can really be done to stop these miscreants. I think we have all, myself included, expressed moral outrage, and then in turn, joke about the barbarity of it all.

Already this year an undercover offiicer was shot and killed in Orlando while trying to break up a tailgating party that involved underage drinking. While admittedly killed by another officer, the event underscores the danger that the police face while trying to control an increasingly unrestrained fan base.

A double murder at an NC State tailgate event was the story last year. Following the upcoming World Series, there is an inevitability that some form of lawlessness will erupt. It wears on me that so many people can put so much effort; the players, the band, the fans, into creating something that is a source of pride, and so quickly have their efforts stolen by so few. It seems past time for extreme measures to start taking our game back.

If it makes you feel any better we arent Auburn. Ahh, there it is. That usually makes me feel better about LSU.

May I recommend washing your hands after soaking a nerf football with urine?

Add "or find his wife or a defensive coordinator who plays to the strengths of his personnel until after his defense blows a 21 point lead to a former 3rd string LSU quarterback" to the end of that last sentence and, yes, you've covered it all.

Well...the first LSU game I saw away from Tiger Stadium was the 1987 Sugar Bowl against Nebraska. I was about 16 at the time, for those who care. Anyway, some New Orleans Saints offensive lineman (I want to say Steve Korte) was seated about 10 rows above us. As LSU was getting beat up on in the second half, for whatever reason these two fat guys all geared up in purple and gold gave this mountain of a man grief for being on the "shi**y Saints".

Said Saint kept quiet...until one of the fat guys made the small mistake of throwing a full beer on the guy (I know, because I and about 30 others, got sprayed).

Fat guy purple had half his face puffed out like a cartoon character when security escorted him out minutes later, eye swollen shut and all. Why someone would provoke an NFL lineman, I have no idea, but I swear on a stack of Bibles this happened.
