not a fan of this version. He is 13 and trying to do too much with it. Experience is a great teacher. Dude obviously has serious skills at 13, but needs to let the music stand on its own.

Of course he is better now after 27 more years of playing with world class musicians. I watched the video again after your comment and I just don't see him trying to overplay and impress listeners with tricks and speed the way some other talented 13 year old might do after he just learned a Metallic song. Every note he played fit right in with the song and he meshed well with the other members of the band. It's too bad there are no videos of the older great guitar players when they were young. You can only imagine what a 15 year old Clapton or Hendrix sounded like, not to mention the old blues guys. I saw SRV play a number of times when he was in his early to mid 20's and he was awesome then too.
