    My Mom's favorite group was, "the Inkspots", I heard a lot from them as a kid, made me appreciate that genre,.. I especially liked, "the Platters",.. still like em.

    I asked about "Mathilda" because it was pure Louisiana swamp... a staple at wedding receptions and dance hall Saturday nights. I still associate it with finger sandwiches and wedding cake.
