Yep, a good while back. I was watching some Phil Collins concert footage and he was playing with other Phenix horn guys and then he wasn't. I looked around and found this. https://eurweb.com/2020/07/30/remem...-sun-goddess-to-sussudio-eur-video-throwback/
That sucks. Original EWF falling like flies. Actually, they really need to hang it up. Philip Bailey can't hit the high notes any more.
Here's their latest, Tower of Power this time. Actually here's their latest (found a new one). EWF this time. They are currently on tour in the US. They will play 30 minutes away from me but on a date I am in Lafayette.
saw Foreiner in San Antonio a couple of weeks ago. It was awesome hearing some good old loud rock and roll from the seventies live and loud.
How did they sound? I love these old bands still touring but man, some of them just didn't age well. Especially the voices, they just don't have the lungs anymore
Yep, I was disappointed to miss Toto in Nola a couple of weeks ago. Then I saw a video from their current tour. They've really gone downhill.
Look up Childs Anthem, its a group of super talented musicians that do Toto music for some project or charity. I know the guitar player.
It was awesome every song they played was a big hit of coarse and they were loud active and i would go again.
They actually did a few shows in Louisiana recently. The guitar player is Scott Bernard from New Iberia. He also plays for Kenny Loggins
