You are lucky I never had the chance. My wife and I were chatting one day and I asked her if you had to listen to just one band or singer for a full day who would it be, mine was Bob Seger followed by Van Morrison as number 2.
Very good choices! Excellent even. I saw Bob and hands down one of the best. Amazing band, what professional sounds like!
The Eagles are my all time favorite group. Bob's certainly in the Top 5 The Eagles came in third. To me Morrison had many more songs that weren't heard on the radio that were great. Also he could jazz it up, rock out, or mellow out. He was a great sax player in case you didn't know. Check out this instrumental by Van playing the sax.
Probably my favorite Van song and hands down my favorite version of it. This thing has pep! Fucking Love Van!
This is what I love about this guy he can go from mellow instrumental to hard driving and everything in between. Always thought he could do swamp pop too. This song got a soulful swamp pop sound to it.
Silly but I have always liked it. Also of course my all time favorite Charles Brown's "Please come home for Christmas"
I've always liked it the best but Don Henley / Eagles (not sure if that was a group thing or if he did it solo) is probably my next favorite version
