Great song for slow dancing.

 

I'm watching a movie called In the Electric Mist starring Tommy Lee Jones as detective Dave Robichaux. He is a detective in Iberia Parish. He was in a bar when this came on the Jukebox.

Clifton Chenier used the play all over south Louisiana.

 

Well we can start with R-E-S-P-E-CT, that was an Otis song until the Queen of soul got hold of it.

If I was going to dance it sure wouldn't be fast.

 

That's true. I think the last time I slow danced was at our wedding reception a couple of years ago.

I used to love Poco. Caught them in a great show at the Cajundome. Now they have become forgotten. You don't even hear them on classic rock radio.



This one has an Eagles type sound. Not surprising since Timothy B Schmidt and Randy Meisner were in the group.
