    I had barely heard of him, have a live cd by G Thorogood where he mentioned, " the great, Stevie Ray Vaughan", but never paid any attention to SRV, he was outside of my music sphere,.. I was mocking you guy for being superstitious in the baseball thread, then Bengal B laid this on me



    couldn't help but become a fan after hearing that,.. came to appreciate Albert King here also, this place, you guys, have expanded my world

    Waylon Jennings was in Buddy Holley's band. He was supposed to be on the plane the day the music died but gave his seat to somebody else.

    I was at work and heard it on the radio. I left work and got drunk listening to SRV songs on CDs.

    Watching the history of the electric guitar now on Amazon Prime. Looks good so far. Some guy just said "If anybody born after 1950 tells you they never wanted to be a rock star they're lying."
