The Music Thread

There is a music store in Walker that I drive past every once in a while when I am out in that area. Turns out the owner is the guy who taught Laine Hardy, the winner on American Idol how to play guitar. I stopped there the other day and bought a slide. I was talking to the guy and told him it must feel good to have somebody like that as his protege. He called another guy over who was in the store and said "This is my protege. He has a PHD in music." The guy said "I have a PHD but no JOB."

I found out tonight that my guitar teacher taught the store owner how to play.
