    I once heard Orbison described as the world's only operatic rockabilly singer.
    I don't think there will ever be a Roy Orbison cover band. Where would they find the lead singer.

    Try the lead singer for the Mavericks Raul Malo if you want an Orbison sound alike.

    Check it out it's spookerly like Obison

    as you probably know, Elvis thought Roy Orbison was the greatest,.. I had a CD of Orbison's early songs,..I was amazed by how much he sounded like Elvis, or more correctly how much they sounded alike. Great CD, wish I still had it.

    To have Elvis's respect back then was quite a big deal shows you that Elvis had humility and character.
