Ole Miss could definitely be considered overrated, GxLSU. I have seen a few pubs have Ole Miss finish 2nd in the West, and I even saw one have Ole Miss number 1. It was that online pub that someone published and someone posted the link here. So you really could consider Ole Miss slightly overrated. Anyteam that barely beats Ole Miss and is in the Top 75 in the country is overrated IMHO.

As for South Carolina, they probably shouldn't be in the "overrated" category. But maybe the "not as good as they used to be" category.

I probably should have titled this poll as "Which team is least deserving of their ranking." I think that would make a bit more sense...

I think Auburn is very deserving of their number 17 rating.

Berlin overrated? We dont know yet-it has been two years since he last played. We do, however, find excuses for Matt Mauk, saying he has not played in eleven months. Double standard?

Who is making excuses for Mauck? Nothing I have seen on this forum. Does Mauck have the supposed God given talent of BB and the same amount of hype? No. Has Mauck come through big time in at least 2 big time games against ranked opponents? Yes. Has BB EVER looked impressive in either his backup playing time at Florida or his first start for the Canes? No Is Mauck a whiner who high tails it out of town whenever things don't go his way? No Is BB a big time whiner? Yes Will Mauck etch his name in the LSU record books alongside of Y.A. Tittle, Bert Jones, Allen Risher, Tommy Hodson and Rohan Davey? Probably not but LSU will win a lot more games than it loses because of Maucks presence in the lineup. Will Brock Berlin etch his name in the Miami record books alongside of Jim Kelly, Bernie Kosar, Vinnie Testaverde and Ken Dorsey? No way. Has BB etched his name into the record books at Evangel alongside of fellow crybaby Josh Booty? Yes, but who cares? That and $3 bucks will get you a cup of coffee at the nearest Starbucks. Will Mauck ever play on Sunday afternoons and Monday nights? The odds are against it. Will BB ever play football on Sunday afternoons. Maybe so if he is on a flag football team or plays pickup games of touch football. Is Mauck a team leader who can inspire his teamates to play better? Yes from what I hear. Maybe not at the same level as Rohan but definately yes. Do the majority of the Miami players give a damn that BB is their quarterback? I don't know but if you take a poll of the Canes players I'll give you odds that most of them don't like him. How can I say that without any solid info? This is America and I can say anything I want but I have a gut instinct that any pampered product of the Evangel system expects everything to go his way and will blame everybody but himself when the going gets a little tough. Did you read the link about BB on another thread where he said his girlfriend didn't win the Miss USA contest because she was cheated out of it? Did BB think he was cheated out of the starting QB job at Florida because Spurrier knew that Rex Grossman was a better QB? Probably. BB's day of reckoning may come as early as Saturday when his Miami team plays BB's ex Florida teamates. He wasn't too impressive against Louisiana Tech but it didn't matter then because of the overwhelming superiority of the Miami players vs the LA Tech players. This Saturday its a hell of a lot more important how well the Miami QB plays if they expect to win. A lot of folks say the Canes are nothing but a bunch of thugs. Maybe they are and maybe they talk a lot of trash but most of them can walk the walk as well as talk the talk. Is BB capable of fitting in and leading a bunch of trash talking thugs and gaining their respect? Ken Dorsey was a class guy who was good enough to make the team his own. Can BB do the same? I say no way.
