agree....$saban is a good coach and will have the gumps on a level playing field in the sec sooner than later, but he still has, and will continue to have some major integrity issues. jeffrey dahmer was elite in his field as well, doesn't mean that he was someone most people would want their children around.

 

whoa nelly!!! may be your personal experience but i really beg to differ. more passionate, more knowledgeable?? those old gumps must have set you on their knees and regaled you with stories about the b'ar and how he had the best team $$ could buy.

you need to get outside of the trailer park that is tuscaloser, ala. do you stick your head in the sand when every sports personality, on every radio, tv, print, etc. forum blasts saban for his lack of integrity???? is it just "hate" because he is now a gump? is that the rationalization 30 mil brings?

i concur.....if gumpville is a red state and the other 49 are blue then it would seem to me that something, just maybe, could be amiss. of course, it could just be me.

Anyone know the game in the last few years where LSU wore the White helmets - I remember watching it on TV - but Can't remember when or who it was against?

i think it was the last time LSU played in the Rose Bowl.

 

i'm thinking and hoping that's sarcasm.

it was their last independence bowl appearance in '97 i think vs notre dame.
