What about a B52? Those things can carry a huge payload.

 

They are a lot faster than a C-130 any they can fly a lot higher.

 

I think the payload problem is the bomb is like 30 feet long. There is no bomb hull that is 30 feet long. That is the reason they used the 130. Not sure what the flight capabilities are of the c5 though. Kind of the same difference in delivery, just bigger

 

C5 can carry 2 M1 Abrams I believe

 

I wonder what the max altitude is that the MOAB can be released from and still hit its target? I wonder how many have been dropped in testing?

 

Isn't it laser or GPS guided?

 

GPS, I wouldn't want to be the poor bastard that has to paint the target when that thing comes flying in

 

B52's are packed with state of the art electronic counters measures against missles. There also would be jet escourts to take out any enemy jets.
