    this is so minor an offense as to be shocking in its insignificance. i am fudging words every other sentence. and so is everyone. its hard to say the words you are trying to say perfectly. sometimes i even forget words halfway through a sentence.

    its not that people dont know the correct words or sentence contructions or facts, its just mistakes. this is like taunting somebody for dropping something slippery. mistakes are a part of life. this is just painfully insignificant stuff. for both obama and me and you and michelle bachmann.

    doesnt bachmann also say she is a creationist? thats not enough to criticize?

    Oh he said it, without a doubt. I assure you that Hannity has it the archives, I am pretty sure I heard him making a big deal about it. No biggie, doesn't bother me that he doesn't know how to pronounce the names of the services that he commands. Small beans, but he said it.

    I think you said,

    Not "The unit that his uncle belonged to" or "his uncle was part of ..."

    Ha, you miss amigo. Big swing but the ball is in the catchers mit.:D

    it isnt that he doesnt know how to pronounce it. its that he is busy and he mindlessly reads things phonetically. its a non-issue.

    obama had plenty of gaffes during his presidential campaign. he said he's been to 57 states, he thought Biden was running for President, he thought he was in St. Louis when he was in Kansas City, he thought he was on the U.S. Senate Banking Committee when he wasn't, he got the number 10,000 confused with the number 12, he thought the name of our country was "Israel," etc etc

    and those are just some of my favorites
