and social conservatives like to tie every decision they make on those issues with their social agenda. So, bahhhh, to you back, you are incorrect.
im my movie thread, you are repeatedly praising jeff daniels for his role in true grit. he wasnt in the movie, you are making a mistake. see how often this happens? and a politician can hate gays or abortion or whatever all he wants, it still wont hurt america as much as raising taxes. you have been trained to care about issues that do not matter.
Jeff Bridges, my bad, and once again... I am not running for president. I am a lowly stoner on a message board...... tell you what, when I run for president one day, I will hire you as one of my advisors so you can make sure i can tell the difference between Jeff Bridges and Jeff Daniels. 2 actors that are the same age and look alike.
right but my points is that every human is making mistakes constantly. and every human that is being examined closely is not only making mistakes, but having non-mistakes misinterpreted as mistakes. like the statement she made about obama releasing "all the oil". she could have easily meant all the oil (that he released), not literally all the oil that was available for release. its just a vague phrasing. its nothing. it muddles the real positions of candidates when you distrct with crap like this, or birther crap, or calling obama muslim. its just nonsense. cheap and pointless.
Not if it can keep 1 person from voting for her. Like I said, regardless of what her economic position is. I don't care if she prints money from her anus. She is a social conservative.
i think a more sophisticated analysis might reveal that social issues dont affect your life as much. if a candidate lowered taxes and spending it would spur the economy to an extent that would be far more relevant for more people than whatever social issue you think is important. if the issue is to make society work, the most relevant thing is peace and prosperity, not gay marriage or whatever other social issue every politician is wrong about.
It's all about pot. If republicans were the legalize pot party lasalle would be a staunch conservative.
Mainstream media covers up horrifying Obama mistake No one in mainstream media seems inclined to mention Barack Obama’s horrifying mistake last Thursday when, speaking at Fort Drum, he said that SFC Jared Monti was “the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasn’t receiving it posthumously.” Alas, he was mistaken. He awarded the Medal of Honor to Jared Monti posthumously in 2009 and awarded the Medal of Honor in person to SSG Sal Giunta in person in 2011. Obama later apologized for this mistake, but it’s really dismaying that a president who spoke movingly and even eloquently in awarding the Medal of Honor made a mistake of this magnitude. “It shouldn’t take a teleprompter for the C-in-C to get it right,” writes military blogger Black Five. It’s interesting that mainstream media journalists who are so eager to zing Michele Bachmann for getting John Wayne’s birthplace wrong, have not been interested in asking whether this was a mistake Obama made in ad libbing or whether the White House speechwriters and fact-checkers fell down on the job. You might think that their chief motive is to make Obama look good and to suppress facts that make him look bad.
