1. I have never been a fan of another school, I have always been a  fan.

  2. For me….Being an LSU Fan is…
I remember growing up on LSU anything, especially football. My Dad went to LSU and I remember cheering the LSU football team as early as 2 years old. I remember wanting to be a LSU cheerleader. I remember wanting to go to LSU and going meant being a proud LSU student and Fan no matter what. I love tailgating. I graduated in 1993 after seven years.

Now I am still a LSU Fan with LSU all over my house. I also have a few LSU purses, the Chinese Bandits ring tone on my cell, lots and lots of LSU clothes that I wear all the time. My son’s room is done in LSU. And he has lots of LSU clothes. Everyone knows that if you buy me something LSU that is all I need and will be happy with. All my students at school know that I am a true LSU Fanatic come rain or shine.

  3. Hahaha no this isnt Blanco or Jindal. I read in the paper a couple weeks ago that they had a fundraiser in Monroe, LA and one of the prizes was "having dinner with blanco". Well the biding started and a guy yelled out ONE DOLLAR!. Needless to say he won. So a few days later he aplogized to blanco and paid 1,000. So she isnt well liked right now.
  4. This sums it all up to me. Having a strong passion is not a decision I made, but just a feeling that I've had as long as I can remember. By earliest recollections include singing Hey fightin Tigers with my twin sister. I've just always loved LSU with no thought given as to why.
  5. I wear an LSU baseball cap on vacation road trips all over the place and I get asked about it a lot, especially during Skip's championship run in the '90's. He really raised LSU's profile up north and out west where football is not such a passion as in the deep south.
  6. Heather, you're a teacher? I teach 7/8 honors English here in Texas. Currently, I'm bored out of my mind while my poor students are taking district final exams. At least I'm free for a couple of weeks after tomorrow @ 3!

  7. I am a kindergarden teacher, I work at a private kindergarden.

I have posted on here before that I am teaching one of the groups that I work with to say :geauxtige , and I am proud to say that they can all say it. Or at least they are trying to say :geauxtige . They are between 18 months and 2 years old.

And their parents tell me they say it all the time too.

They can learn their abc's and 123's anytime.

I will teach them the more important stuff.
