1. And thankfully no Brodie Croyle.

Did he ever win a single big game at Bama? Except the dying duck field goal in the Cotton Bowl....:dis:
  2. if brodie was here now, would you take jpw?

i think you may want to focus on a little thing called an OL.
  3. Great point, and you can't blame Brodie for all of those injuries he sustained.
  4. you're nutts and your assessment is wrong. this game really means something to the seniors (read their interviews about this game). We will be healed up and ready. Early is back. Flynn is back. The D will show who's the best D in the country. we will be seeing a lot of this:

you just gotta have faith, my friend.

    :tigereye:

  5. At least the theme is the same between you bama fans... past optimism unjustified but this time its for real!

And my theme is the same too, bama is just another mid level SEC game. I don't worry about them like I do consistent powers AU and Fl. But we have to play well to win, especially in T.
  6. Believe me, Bama isn't even close Talent wise, or Staff wise...If Bama has any success at all, it will be a false sense of hope, cause its only adrenaline driven. LSU owns Bama in Bama...always have, that why LSU is able to pull recruits out of Bama each year.
  7. Double post...see below. Sorry.
  8. You speak of past optimism here...and, if you want to reference the '05 year like this thread has moved to perhaps you should search out what I said in '05 as well.

I'll give you the talent argument, but the staff line I have to question.

FWIW, you don't have a single commitment out of Alabama this year.
  9. Which part would that be?
  10. We have pulled the best out of Bama in years passed. And that wont change, as we will keep the Mobile pipeline going. And as far as staff, Beyond Head Coach, there's nothing there in LSU's league. As far as experience and success.
