Wrong, I used to defend it when we were winning. Because winning is all that matters. But Les' must have lost his horseshoe because this shit sucks!

And to be honest I did not want LSU running the table up until the bama game. I would not have even bothered to watch that demolition. The season is over and no one needs to dread a devastating west division deciding game vs bama this year.

Won't be a problem, we won't win a West game the rest of the year.

Georgia is a dumpster fire too, they needed everything to beat Nichols State.

I'm trying to think of a coach who has consistently done so little with so much as CLM, and I can not think of a any. There has to be at least one! Just criminal that we will have to pay those big bucks to a person for that kind of performance year in, year out, especially considering the recruiting classes we've had, year in, year out.

Mark Richt would be pretty much a mirror image of Les Miles. Both of them are good men with glaring weaknesses as head coaches. Both put a lot of players into the NFL. Both represented their universities well.

With it now being obvious that Les Miles isn't going to right the ship that started sinking on 1/9/12 (and, yes, many here have known it since then), it's time to make a change. It was actually time to make a change last year, just like UGA did; however, did UGA wait too long? UGA looks awful, and was Kirby Smart the best they could get?

All of these are scary questions, along with perhaps the scariest thought of all--Alleva will be making a coaching hire. Let's hope he's not as bad as Joe Dean when it comes to that.

Basically, if Miles was ever going to get it right again, it had to be this year--with almost all of his seniors coming back and the junior and sophomore studs here, it was set up to be a 2011-type team. And instead, it's a dumpster fire. He's done, and now, I feel really badly for the seniors who stayed to win a championship that their coach can't help them deliver.

I had some idiot arguing with me earlier on ESPN that firing him would be a mistake. Say we are comparing ourselves with Alabama when we have never been on par with Alabama. He said we won NC with Saban and 1 with Miles but the last 15 years he said doesn't put us on par with Alabama.

He said LSU is a career 64% winning team throughout history and Miles has won at 72%..

All that may be true but we have regressed every year since 2011 IMO. We are getting worse with the best talent available. That's why he needs to go

I know that we historically were not on par with Alabama, but until they emasculated us in the BCSNCG, we were on par with them RIGHT then. Furthermore, if we had actually been able to win in Baton Rouge that following November, when it was so close, that likely would have held us on course then. When we lost that game, it may well have killed Miles' spirit.

Everything is falling apart, and the only thing to do is make a change while we still have talent to compete. We need to throw everything we've got at Tom Herman (and hope that he loses to Louisville, keeping him out of the playoffs.)

I agree. We just need to root for Texas to win a lot this year.

I don't know if that is going to happen, though. Everyone got really excited about Texas barely beating ND. Well, guess what? ND sucks! They are 1-3 right now and just lost to Duke...in football...

On the other hand, I don't know if any team in the Big 12 is any good, so maybe they can at least be competitive.

Perhaps playing in the SEC West would appeal to someone like Herman, more than playing in the Big 12? I know that 1) Austin is a pretty nice place to live, and 2) UT will open the checkbook wide to get Herman. So, there's that.
