a degree should be worth more than your debt. so why would be enriching those that already own a degree?

if you degree is not worth more than your debt, then we should not be subsidizing it and encouraging it.

 

Plenty of sites around that explain the reasons for cancelling student loan debt. Google them. Educate yourself. I am personally ambivalent on the matter, but I do know that tens of millions of Americans can't get ahead because of their debt, and it's certainly not a program to benefit the "leftist elite" to the detriment of others.

And a Republican crying about our government benefiting the elite REALLY takes the cake.

 

do you believe at all in personal responsibility? why are these people buying so much stuff that is worthless? why is that the responsibility of the taxpayer?

student debr is by nature for the educated. why should uneducated workers pay them for theeir frivolous educations?

 

we know the goal of politics discussion is always a personal attack on the other guy, usually racist or hypocrite, or both, but put that aside for moment. for one second stop making it a game of sick burns and "lol racist hypocrites!"

why should taxpayers fund the elite's educations? those educations themselves are worth more than the debt or they shouldnt have borrowed.

if i am uneducated, and you have a very expensive education, why should i pay you? you are the one with earning potential!

i went to a cheap state school called LSU, and therefore didnt incur much debt. why should i have to pay for people who go to fancy expensive schools? why do they get their super fancy education paid for by the rest of us? why didnt they just go to the local state school if they cant afford an expensive school? state schools are fine! why should the govt be in the business of buying elite super expensive luxury products for people?

 

Because there are solid arguments FOR, not the least of which is that even those without loan debts to repay would also benefit from economic stimulus.

 

Biden says that student loan debt cancellation would be less than $50k for each borrower.

The latest guess is $10k per borrower.

I had 4 or 5 employees with degrees get forced into my shop in an attempt to teach them basic tool & die maintenance and plant maintenance (plt eng at automotive supplier). All were good people but exceedingly worthless (age considered) and all had plenty of student debt. Paying for their own stupidity is the only way they will learn a valuable life lesson. Failure to do so places those kind of people into the worthless parasite category. Everything this admin does is afrocommunist in focus.

 

why would we want to give 50k to these clowns ? some folks work a whole year to make that and you just wanna take it and give it to people who are more educated and almost surely younger and healhier with more earning potential? this is horrifying injustice!

when you take away market incentives you fuck the system. people should go to state schools and study engineering. if you want to go to vassar and study faggotry, thats you buying yourself a gift, not a practical thing. a fancy college is like a ferrari. you dont need it. its expensive, and its for rich people.

student debt should never be an issue if you study something useful for society. you dont see mechanical engineers from LSU caring about debt. its only frivoulous clowns that nobody wants to hire. subsidizing frivolity is bad for society, bad for our university system. if anything we should only subsidize trade schools, and even then its not very needed because the welder that graduates from welding academy isnt gonna have any problem with debt. he will be working his ass off and making bank.

student debt problems are for idiots. major in something useful or dont complain.
