The Last time I was in Tiger Stadium

The Tiger defense will be saying NEAUX GEAUX to the Sooners.

'73 to '87 were great years. Do you recall the USC game in '79?

 

We beat Auburn 12-6 in 1995 when they were ranked #3 in the country ("Bring Back the Magic Game" or the "Jamie Howard redemption game"). It was my first game as a student and still one of my all-time favorites. Maybe you were thinking of the 1993 season, I've tried to forget the entire early 90's.

We lost the game against Florida in 1995 28-10 (I think) when Kennison had that punt return called back. That was also my first year as a student and we decided it would be most efficient to stay up all night because of the 11:30 start. By the time the game was over, we were too. I predicted Kennison would return a punt for a TD and LSU would win during our all-night party. I don't think I've ever picked LSU to lose so I've been doing better with my picks this year.

 

My last game in TS was '86 vs. Georgia. Tigers won, 23-14, I believe. I did manage to make the Cotton Bowl last year, however.

 

Never been to Tiger stadium, been to 5 LSU games, but never made the trip to LA. Hoping to go this year for a game, probably the Ole Miss game, unless we get a decent opponent to play on Labor Day weekend. They're 4-1 in the games that I've been to, hoping to make it 5-1 on Jan. 4!!!
