I think FLA had something to do with that.

The QB does not throw well laying on the ground, hit him EVERY play. Worst Alabama QB in years.
The last 2 chokes in Tiger Stadium due to horrible defensive scheme on last drives in both games. I will never forgive Fat Chavis for those drives.

The 10 yd holding penalty on the first play of the 2nd half and having a first and 20 at the 10 started things off poorly. We had pissed poor field position the whole 3rd qtr. I think field position had more to do with the play calling than many give credit. Was it overly conservative? Maybe/maybe not. Had we thrown a pick 6 I'm sure people would have been over him for being reckless.
As it was we were back on our heels the whole 3rd quarter yet had enough to make the winning TD drive when needed.

I think he is talking about the stupid attempt to field that punt and the breakdown on ST that allowed the punt return for a TD

That's how every fan of their own team feels. You have zero objectivity if you think the #11 team in the country with 4&5 star players themselves wasn't going to come out fighting and didn't hav esomething to do with the second half comeback. If LSU held, or muffed a punt, etc, there was some strong ass FLA player putting pressure on inducing those mistakes. I promise you CLM didn't come out after halftime and say "alright guys, we've got this one, let's play halfass, make some mistakes and see if we can let 'em back in it. It'll be fun, and we'll give the fans heart attacks and something to talk about"

The article took note of that and mentioned the punt and kick returns for the difference in points.

Tiger fans aren't sure what to make of Kevin Steele yet. They're rightly concerned about the blown coverages every game, though. There will be more blown coverages against Bama. They will be crucial. They will cost LSU the game. Tiger fans will then be calling for Kevin Steele's head. Les may fire Steele, and if he does he'll call me to see if I'm interested in the DC position. Unfortunately for Tiger fans, I'll be packing my bags for Los Angeles. I will be named the new USC Trojans head coach in December.
    Sincerely,
    Curley H.
