I love JaMarcus, but the scramble against Auburn (such a high-publicity game) I think affected his Heisman chances. If we succeed against UF, then we'll hear it. But guys, I'd rather win the game than worry about that.
Taking the sack against is Auburn is one of only two JR mistakes I have seen this season. The guy is a phenom, and we are lucky to have him in purple and gold.
Brady Quinn didn't even show up until 8 minutes were left against MSU and that got him back in the Heisman race. Today we all saw what kind of juggernaut he came back against last week.
I was at the game and there was no loud cheer when flynn went in the game, the stadium was almost empty. There was scattered small applause just like when Perilloux entered at the end.
Flynn could throw 3 INT's and the same people would still say that Flynn is "smarter" and should start. Amazingly not a one of these people know JR or Flynn, but they still know who is "smarter". The last time I checked Einstein didn't win a heisman.
2006 stats for Russell: 81/115 (70.4%) - 1,246 yards - 10 TD - 1 Int - QB Eff. 188.40 All I can say is wow. Just wow.
