I was at the offshore boat races today in Orange Beach, Alabama. My stepdaughter goes to Auburn on scholorship. She was with us along with a bunch of her fellow class mates. They ALL hope Auburn loses the Iron Bowl so Tubby and his whole staff will be fired. They are sick and tired of his excusses in loosing so many games. The word is: Tubberville=overrated, overpaid, underacheiver and mostly unwanted.
Given the limited choices Id probably have to say the "Who's your Daddy Bowl", but at my house it will be more like WW3. Between a loud smack-talking husband AND mother-in-law who both like to say smart ass comments, I wont make it through the weekend if we dont win, but it will sure be sweet if we do win. The "House-Divided" flag will be flying proudly. WAR DAMN EAGLE!! BEAT BAMA!!
Now I havent been a huge fan of the coaching this year either, but I certainly wouldnt wish a loss to Bama just to boot him out. A loss to Bama is NEVER acceptable! WAR DAMN EAGLE!! BEAT BAMA!!
These kids just want the pain to stop and sometime sacrifices are in order. They love their school and I guess that's the main reason. I see their point.
