    difference between north korea and iran
    north Korea has a fanatical leader and a population that follows cause they will starve if they don't.
    iran has a fanatical leader and a fanatical population. iran is inherently more dangerous than north Korea
    and they already have s delivery method... anyone of the nut jobs that currently blow themselves up.

    Iran probably has a significant number of citizens who would revolt if they could. North Koreans are so starved and oppressed that they have no choice but to do whatever Kim un Dung tells them to do.

    The biggest problem with Iran is that they are an Islamic state. So far the only predominately muslim country to have nukes is Pakistan. While most nations won't use nukes for fear of having their country turned into a wasteland inhabitable only by cockroaches and giant mutant rats for the next 500 years a nutcase ayatollah might decide that it is the will of Allah that he go out in a blaze of radioactive glory to kill as many Great Satan infidels as possible. After all, allah will reward them all as martyrs. Despite all his posturing I don't think the little slant eyed guy with the bad haircut wants to die. Followers or sharia law might welcome it.

    Well, this is nonsense. Iran's population is not as radical as the Revolutionary Guard, which is why they had revolts against them a few years ago. And the leadership is also split between moderates and hardliners. The Korean dictator is a certifiable lunatic. The Iranian leader is democratically elected and not a kook at all. They may be radical, but they are not crazy. This is why deterrence will work on them. Hell it works on Kim, too. And everybody else.

    This is completely laughable. First of all the jihadists are Sunnis, not Shia. Iran is at extreme odds with Al Qaeda and ISIS and about 400 other Sunni radical groups. They do support Hezbollah and Hamas,but those groups do not have attacking America as an agenda, its all about Palestine to them. Israel can handle them and Iran, too. Otherwise why have we been giving them $Billions in military aid every year? Why else do they own 200 nuclear weapons?

    With all they have had to go through to try to get a weapon, if Iran ever manages to so so, it will be to have a deterrent against Israeli attack. They are not going to just had it over to a terrorist. Especially when it has their return address on it.

    red have you paid attention to the shit that spews from the mouths of the Iranian people... death to America is the mildest of their chants... they would have no problem using a nuke on us. MAD doctrine doesn't work when one side believes what comes after death is better than what available today.

    the certifiable nut job in NK, doesn't want to die so he won't use it preemptively. the certifiable nut jobs in iran would because they would be ok with a martyrs death.
