Question.... What happens if Iran's chief Ayatollah forces them to reject the treaty? I'm not predicting this but every day there are news stories quoting him as being against the deal. Where does the Revolutionary Guard really stand? We know there is a balance of power in the country so rejecting the deal is not impossible. http://www.businessinsider.com/iranian-hardliner-the-supreme-leader-opposes-the-nuclear-deal-2015-8
Is the coalition strong enough to keep sanctions in place? If the U.S. Rejecting the deal means war; what does Iran's rejection mean? The real question behind this is what will our president and Secretary of State do if it happens?

See what I was hearing is can't we accept the deal and fuck em up later? I mean bombing the shit out of them isn't off the table just because we do the deal.

LaSalle it takes two to make a deal. My question is what would happen if the Iranians said no while the rest of the world ratified? If they don't and continue as they are now. What does the rest of the world do?

I'm pretty sure war would be on the horizon. At least no one could say we didn't try for diplomacy.

What it means is that sanctions would continue and we know the Iranians don't want that. Don't mistake rhetoric designed for internal consumption for their foreign policy. The mullahs and the secular government have always been at odds politically. They are making noise for political reasons just like our Republican Congress and Democratic President.

That is exactly the situation that the retired general describe. We cannot get the international support necessary for making war on Iran without giving diplomacy a try first. It is an option that we can exercise if it become necessary. But it ain't necessary now.
