The Influx of Crazies on TF & the logic behind allowing it

Red has a good idea, RHans405 likes it. I kinda like it. One of our strengths over the years has been a hospitality to rival fans who show up and then stay, like Deceks, Proud Tiger, Caddilacattack, Hawker45, Mr. Peabody (where's he been?), uscvball, etc. I doubt they'd pay to get in the civil section, and the rant section would probably not entice them to stay. That would be a negative. Hmmmm...

I just don't come here after games. It's that simple. If I do, it's to guage how bad the meltdown is going to be. I'm not ready to discuss rational issues right after a loss anyway so the craziness doesn't affect me much. On Sunday or Monday, I take a look and respond to the threads that are at least somewhat reasonable.

I love this board because 99% of the time, there is great discussion. I can deal with the melt downs three times a year. This is a great forum and I wouldn't change a thing.

 

We could really use you and SabanFan in there today. Trying to be a voice of reason is a losing battle, but a little more rational balance would be nice.

 

I already contribute and would pay more to stay out of what the Den is becoming. Even when tempers are high I can count on a certain faction to respect others; disagree like hell and maybe even question if there was a thought process involved, but in the end it is all good. Lagniappe remains the essence of TF and is where I am spending my time. I LIKE the people in TF as I know it and will stay as long as there is a place we can gather.
