In regards to reliably measure carbon dioxide gases, it's true, we have only really accurately measured them on an annual basis for the last half century. But the curve has gone steadily up since then.

Moreover, we can fairly accurately measure carbon dioxide over many thousands of years, the current levels are higher than the level has been for many thousands of years, and in our history, the highest carbon dioxide levels coincide with the highest temperatures
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are the things I'm most curious about.
We have been measuring carbon dioxide gas for only a half century yet
we have all the answers and know that It is higher than at any time in history.
    "Fairly accurately"?

Currently levels are higher than they've been in thousands of years?
    Meaning?
The levels were at this level at one time which would mean that all of this
    is non sense.

I think some scientists choose to ignore facts also:
Mars Ice caps are melting, boy look what we're doing to the universe.
    People are evil!
And the planet has been warming for many years before man's industrial revolution, example: Alaska, Glaciers, etc.
There was once an Ice Age on earth and that was before the scientists in the 70's said we were at a time of global cooling.
    Which is it?
One things for sure from this source:
Leave it up to politicians to curb gases, it aint going to happen.
They are all pretty worthless and pick and choose around tough issues.

I hate it when politicians or actors take up causes become experts and mis-represent the truth, thats ignoring
    some of the facts also.

Does he disagree with them on the entire topic, or just the purported causal link between hurricanes and global warming? I understand there is no scientific consensus on that link.

Sure it does. Every other alternative viewpoint he sees that disagrees with his religion, he calls them a Republican hack. That's the very definition of myopic.

I've never tried to convince anyone. I could give 2 rat turds less whether or not you agree dude. The point is, history will prove who's right. But by that time, you wackos will have moved onto some other catastrophe event.

It's fine with me if man is causing it. But when wackos, and that's what they are, scream for us to sign Kyoto and the like, it has the tendency to fall into the category of "The Population Bomb" rhetoric. That's part of the crying wolf syndrome. No one's listening any longer and it will be proven by history that it's the same thing.

I won't lose a wink of sleep over it if man is causing it. Just prove it.
