It makes it possible to punish persons who have done nothing intrinsically criminal. it is an historical fact that the IRS has been employed politically to punish (and silence) political dissidence.

Persons avoid the consequences of bad laws by "flying under the radar" so to speak. So-called tax cheats stay silent while persons who provide and/or use recreational alternatives to ethyl alcohol pay inflated prices while trying not to bring attention to their activity.

just as a heads up this board is pretty liberal. If hes not chances are the next one is, but none of them know it or acknowledge it.

 

some people say this board is very conservative. red, you make a note of this and find the middle ground using this liberal board as a standard for liberal extremism that you should oppose.
