Look forward to spending a month looking at their defense. If they can stuff LSU's running game, this may be another very close game.:geaux: :crystal:

 

This might have been posted, if so i apologize cause i haven't the time to read through all the threads.

But Im sick and tired of hearing that it's unfair that LSU has a "home" game for the NC.

Correct me if Im wrong, but didn't Texas beat USC in the Rose Bowl 2 years ago? I think that would be considered a "home" game for USC. The best team will win this game.

Another thing was Corso saying that the OSU fans were the best travelling fans and wouldn't let LSU fans take over. Uhhhh....WRONG. If you think there's a team in the country that could take over New Orleans playing LSU....you need to be in a psyche ward. I don't care if the game was played in Alaska, nobody takes over our fans.

With a healthy LSU, this game could resemble the VT game earlier this year.

This is going to be a great game. Let's not take the Buckeyes lightly.

Remember, they beat that great Miami team after the 2002 season for the National Championship. Miami was trying to repeat.

Also, this is tOSU 3rd trip to the BCS Title game in 6 years.

They will be ready to play.

Our team needs to have the right mindset when they get to New Orleans, and when they take the field!!!

Members of the media may predict us to win, and we may hear about it for a whole month leading up to the game. Let's make it happen!!!

I was in downtown New Orleans today after the Saints v Bucs game. After the game they had a big party on Lafayette street two blocks south of the Superdome. There was a DJ, loud concert speakers (you could hear the music blocks away), and plenty of hot girls in Saints-gear getting down to the music. Then when it became official that LSU would be in the Superdome for the NC, the DJ announced that they'd have the same party after the LSU-OSU game, and then he played Pregame and the LSU Fight Song. It was awesome. Afterwards, I walked down to Bourbon and the Quarter, and there were already LSU flags and LSU signs every where. As I was on Bourbon, whenever someone came walking down the street wearing LSU-gear, people would shout out to them "Geaux Tigers!!!!" or "L S U!!!!". It was great!

 

Hey guys, i know there will be a lot of trash talk going on etc. I just want you guys to know, i'm not one of those people, im just a hardcore buckeye fan, and can't wait until the opportunity to play for another national title. I have a ton of respect for you guys, and honestly feel you guys are the most talented team in the nation. My word of advice though, is to not take the Ohio State team lightly, and expect LSU to steamroll them. I expected Ohio St. to do that to florida last year, and i was very unpleasantly surprised, but ohio st. is a very solid team, they play great defense, and can run the ball very well. Boeckman is the biggest concern for ohio state, he's had really good games, but he's also prone to make a stupid mistake.
If you want my personal opinion, i think LSU's biggest disadvantage comes in coaching. I may be biased, but I personally feel Les Miles has lost way more games with this team already than he should have with the talent they have. He coaches on the edge, which can win some games for you, but it can also cost you dearly.
Anyways, i'll stop rambling now, but it should be a great game imo, and i can't wait, i look forward to it, and chatting on here in between.

Hope for a Clean, Healthy, Hard fought game.

Deep down, no one here is underestimating OSU...it's just more fun to trash-talk :thumb:. We were humbled by Kentucky and Arkansas so we know not to overlook teams. It's great that we have more Ohio State fans coming in with what should be a fun month leading up to the big game. I look forward to talking football with some Buckeye fans, so stick around!
