Found this gem while perusing youtube. Legendary receiver Andy Hamilton fakes out Clarence Ellis in Tiger Stadium, 1971. Enjoy..

He could teach our WR's a thing or 2 about route running. Can we make him an analyst?

That was one of my favorite games in Tiger stadium. I was there as a student and will never forget.

Nowadays we run that little fade, throw it to that corner 8/10 times and let out guy go up and get it.

I was sitting in the opposite end zone and saw the play develop, Ellis left his jock on the field 'cause Andy faked him out of it! I believe that Ellis was an all American that year too.

Andy Hamilton would have been a prototype WR if he were playing today. He was 6' 4" 210 lbs, great hands, athletic and could outrun CB'. He became very dedicated to religion and never really reached his enormous potential as a football player. Was Bert Jones' cousin

I’ll never forget that game. I got in deep shit with the upperclass midshipmen by cheering so hard for LSU. Most of those guys were Yankees and ND fans. Fuck’um.

Some years back the team chaplain for Tha U was a priest who had grown up in Miami and went to seminary school there. He got in big trouble for refusing to cheer for Notre Dame aganst Miami.

His punishment was severe. He was denied access to the choirboys.
