Now he's saying John McCain isn't a war hero, he likes soldiers that don't get caught. This dude has no filter. Bless you Donald Trump, you truly are a gift.

 

I had hopes for The Donald but he just doesn't know when to quit. I don't particularly like McCain. I voted for him in '08 but I had no choice. Politicians are going to lie and slander each other every day. I get that. But NEVER knock a war hero's service. Call him a thief, a liar and a wife beater. I don't care. Talk about his bad breath. Cool with me. But say what you will about McCain's politics, the man did spend 5 1/2 years being beaten and tortured in a POW camp. That deserves respect from everybody.

 

Trump is turning into the democrats secret weapon.

 

Not really. Nobody who would have voted for Trump is going to vote for Hillary. It's the other Republican candidates who will reap the harvest of Trumps mouth. When does the next poll come out. Will be interesting to see how far he falls. Bobby Jindal might even be ahead of him now.

 

I do not believe these remarks will hurt Trump as much as many of you think. Again, regardless, IMHO the GOP is in shambles.

 

I don't think it hurts Trump, I think it hurts the GOP as a whole.

 

This will kill Trump's hopes. He has offended millions of veterans who won't forget what he said. If he had any sense he would backtrack and apologize and say he "misspoke" Show a little humility and prove that he is human. But Trump doesn't have an ounce of humility in him. Already he has come out and said that he meant what he said.

 

He's backtracking....well Donald backtracking that is, he says he called him a hero 4 times. He should say that he was just joking. But he will never apologize or admit he is wrong, that's just not Trump.
