Don't get yer knickers in a twist, I'm mostly poking fun at the "nice minded" liberals so willing to insult at a moment's notice. Gotta run though....late for volleyball.

On the bright side conservatives, the Supreme Court ruled that killing someone one death row could be done by the drugs used in Oklahoma, and that the Energy, Oil and Gas Industry can poison us. So not all is lost GOP.

Have you never read a supreme court ruling before? Sometimes they go on and on trying to explain every detail. If they are going to rule that marriage is a right of citizenship, then they will explain why it is so for everybody. It is straightforward and not the least bit "esoteric".

States have many rights. But sometimes they run afoul of the Constitution.

    Dr. Pragmatic, you mean.

OK, but it must be equally hypocritical for all citizens.

Making these decisions is their job! It's why we have a Supreme Court, for heavens sake. The case went through all of the legal steps just as cases have done for two centuries. In this country, you can't discriminate based on race, color, creed, gender or sexual orientation. It sounds like you are objecting to me. You think a state has the right to discriminate against certain citizens based on sexual orientation?

We will cross that bridge if it ever gets built.

One of the criminals executed who complained of pain raped a woman and then buried her alive. The other one who screamed that it felt like his body was on fire raped and murdered an infant.

I'm torn on the death penalty. I'm sure there are plenty who deserve it, but you don't think innocent people have been put to death?

Its happened but just about everybody who actually gets executed has done something that goes way beyond a simple murder in terms of aggravating circumstances. Everybody in prison is innocent. Just ask them.

Please help me by showing me where in the Constitution or Bill of Rights it states freedom from religion as you claim above? And if churches are free to recognize marriages or not, why the push to force gay marriage in churches that object to that?

They cannot force a church to marry same sex, only justice of the peace, elvis and those $25 Internet ministers.

there will plenty of sane churches that will conduct gay weddings. The others can take their ball or in this case bible and go home.
