Why do you think I used the phrase "valid medical concern" in order to opt out of mandatory vaccinations? It's why we have judges, to sort out the legitimate medical concerns from the misplaced homeopathic politics.

So, Rand Paul and Christie believe in pro choice about something. I guess it is a parents right to let there kid get small pox, mumps, measles, polio, die, but it is not a mother's right to have an abortion.

Political posturing bullshit. Way to be consistent. I can't wait to hear what Rick Perry might say on this issue. Several years ago Merck almost had Rick Perry pen a law making HPV vaccines mandatory. That is, until the public got wind of it. That is a 400 dollar shot * 4 shots. It was so very important to get your shots back then. Now, not so much.

vaccinations for smallpox arent administered anymore since there hasnt been a case since 1980.

im pro-vax (hell, i used to develop them) but the history of vaccine production is not squeaky clean. in particular polio vaccines contained sv40 (and probably others) that were unknowingly co-purified. same has happened with certain veterinary vaccines---cancers at inoculation sites in cats is not uncommon.

that being said, everyone in the country should be forced to have them with only medical exeptions. (as only MS and WV mandate)
