Its called politics, junior. Disney has publicly stated that they will continue fighting the law to get this legislation undone and fight those who supported it. Desantis and the people of FL aren't having any of it. You would think that your side would be rejoicing that government is making a corporation pay their fair share in taxes.

Why are you in favor of teaching ANY type of sexuality to preschool children? Nevermind, I already know the answer.

It's actually pretty smart. What's Disney going to do? Pack up and leave?

 

this is perfectly fine and within their rights. they should make the tax policy based on whether it is good policy, not what the business stands for.

as for tax breaks for certain business, i dont know if those are good or not, and i have thought about it quite a bit with respect to chimical/oil companies and louisiana

I agree with that for the most part, but when their end goal is to repeal a law that prevents babies from being taught anythng to do with sex or sexual orientation, then all bets are off. It's disturbing that a law is even needed, when common and moral sense should be all that's needed.

it doesnt matter how wrong and stupid their lobbying is, their tax policy should be based on what is best tax-wise for whoever is involved, and not contingent on their social opinions and lobby
