    Agree about Loston.

He thinks he can simply fly all over the field and magic will happen.

Coaches need to get on him before it loses us a ball game.

    THE UGLY

    1. Jennings' red-zone fumble for a huge loss was ugly. He's not ready yet.
    2. The linebackers can't cut it. They bit on misdirection and got themselves blocked all night.[/quote]

    3. Any time Mett tries to scramble. It's almost comical; especially when he tries to juke a defender. Just good natured smack talk here, but he looks like a clumsy oaf who's going to trip over his own feet.

He's picked up a couple of first downs, hasn't he? Do you really just feel the need to pick on him about SOMETHING? LOL

Metts getting rid of the ball instead of just holding it and taking a sack. That's an improvement.

Here's my take on it from week 1 to week 2, O-line play has improved from week 1 to week 2, passing game was very good, however this was a piss poor secondary we went up against, linebacker play continues to be no where to be found, and we are still have trouble containing on the ends. White looked very very good out there at safety when loston went down. Recieving core is looking very very good, hill looks like a manchild out there, all in all Offense gets an A- and defense gets a C overall.

Hill's got much better vision and picks running lanes much better than Blue or Magee. Hilliard is not impressive in my opinion and doesn't need to be playing unless we're down a couple guys.

    Contained Chaos Don't we all?

Blue appears very timid when running between the tackles. Understandable, considering the nature of his injury, but damn dude; don't just "kind of" do it. We heard all kinds of talk about he was better than ever at the end of camp, but we haven't seen it yet.

Magee is definitely more of an outside threat guy, but he's not afraid to hit the holes hard, either. He just doesn't have the size to be a true power back. Haven't really noticed his blocking ability, but I think he's our #2 guy right now.

No idea what's happened to Kenny. At the end of the 2011 season, I was sure he'd be re-writing the record books at LSU. I understand & forgive last season because of his family situation, but he has slimmed down a bit and was supposedly back to 2011 form. Maybe he just needs more reps. Big, power backs tend to get better with more carries, both during a game and over the course of the season.

It's very obvious that Hill is still, without question, the best RB on this roster. That's not a slight to the other guys, but he's been the only one to pick-up yards up the middle through 2 games. That's a bit of a head-scratcher, considering the size of the OL and the success of last year's power running game. Regardless, I expect him to get the bulk of the carries as we head into conference play. Having this passing attack with a legit all-SEC candidate toting the rock up the middle? Yeah, good luck stopping that. Dude's gonna go apeshit without the box being stacked.
