Lets play a few more games to get a better feel. That's all I would say, still lots of football to play, enjoy the season. Gonna be a fun year To call us to drop 4-5 games, how can you say our best days are ahead of us?
Aubie, bam bam, aggie, sissy/arky. I think most, if not all, sec games will be competitive, but I was talking about the top teams. I think we'll give em all hell. Don't see us losing 4-5, still think we're dark horse material. We look comparable on offense to last year and maybe better on D. We are young at key spots on offense, but Jennings seems to make pretty good decisions. Plus, I'm feeling good about our coaching staff.
@LSUDad He meant the next season or two. I can't predict much based off of this game except we do have talented upstarts including the true sophomores & redshirt freshmen.
I think the MSU game in a couple of weeks is going to tell me a lot about how the rest of the season plays out.
I like the future this year, an I know what he ment, as always, just having fun. I'm gonna enjoy this year as always
If we put 59 on them like last year, are we that good or are they that bad? Still need to see a few more games. I know this, this is by far the best set of Asst coaches, I've ever seen at LSU. Cam was using this game more like a practice, forcing stuff at the young kids, making them grow up. Making them make plays. Having them learn, what to do in 3rd and long, they will review the film, an he will show them why he called a certain play.
I should've said "best seasons". But you're still misunderstanding what I meant about the possibility of 4 losses. I meant our fans need to understand our situation and be reasonable with this years' expectations. I didn't mean I expect to lose 4 or 5; only that I will not be calling for Miles' head if we do.
No, Northeast. It wasn't a spectacular spill, just went down hard on one knee. For the first time in 40 years, I went to a first aid station to get it cleaned up and bandaged because there was a lot of filth in the aisle and I didn't want it to get infected. Believe it or not, all they would do was to clean it with alcohol pads and tape a gauze pad on it. I asked if they would put some hydrogen peroxide or Neosporin on it to kill any bacteria but they said that they were only authorized to give first aid and that would constitute "treatment" and I would have to go to another aid station where there was a doctor. I wasn't going to miss that much game time, even in a blowout win.
If we put 59 on 'em, Joe Alleva should hand Cam Cameron a check for 1 million at the end of the game.
