You got that right! :thumb: And come Saturday, there won't be any Arky fans looking in here either.
Heya Fellas, Should be a great game!! For us. We had a few SWC championships back in the day and I grew up with a healthy dislike for the Longhorns, but admittedly we as fans generally don't have that same dislike for any particular SEC teams. Having said that though, I'm sure there will be a bit more dislike between ARK and LSU after this week... one way or another. Good luck and here's to no injuries. For us. :thumb:
LOL Trying to be respectful you know... so I had to reword it a couple of times! It was hard though I tell ya.
Don't think so... My wife is from Orange County down in SoCal and a USC fan, so I get enough razzing over our past 2 USC games from her.
That's funny. I watched both games. This year, I thought Ark. had a couple of blown opportunities in the first half that let 'em in and then the wheels came off. Impressive what your team has done since. Isn't it 15 starters that returned this year?
I'm not sure of the exact number, but there were quite a few... mainly freshmen and sophmores last year as this still isn't a very senior-strong team. We will need to replace some key OL players next year, but supposedly the stable is fairly full. I spent good money and went to last year's USC game down in LA, and there's all there is to say about that. This year's USC game can be summed up in a few key points: The QB that started for us that game rarely sees the field anymore. When he does, it's as a WR. The QB that was destined to start the year (Dick) had a hurt back all through pre-season and is only recently 100%. He's taken over for Mustain and is the guy for now. Also, our RB situation was not as it is now. McFadden was hurt and not a factor. With his injury, the coaching staff made the (ill-advised) decision to keep the RB's in non-contact mode leading up to the USC game. This helped contribute to a 5 turnover game. It would be hard to beat a C-USA team with 5 turnovers, let alone USC. Combine with the above two keys the history of the past 2 years, and the confidence level for a bunch of underclassmen was probably shaken pretty hard. It's taken this season for them to grow and realize they have the talent to compete on the national stage.
How bout ur trippin...USC had trouble with almost all of there games as the season progressed...OSU sucks this year and beat them....They Hung 50 points on Arkansas, at the beginning of the season, when there suppose to suck....man
NorCalHog is right and his assessment if pretty dam good- don't forget, they are undefeated in the West and only lost to a team that has a great chance to get to the NC game. He was not flaming, no need to go off.
