This is another good point. The mind boggling thing is that CLM has said on more than one occaision that this is the best OL he has had since he's been here. What's even more frightening is that he is a former OL in college. If he cannot recognize talent or coach it up at his area of expertise we have got to question his ability, wouldn't you think?
As our main competition in the west, it warms my heart to see so much blood letting within the ranks. Recruits are going to be reading all of this and it will affect them. Create doubt and uncertainty and it will creep into all facets of your program.
you maybe correct but the thing is recruits watch the games also and I am sure they can see all this themselves, its not like they will learn this stuff just from here.
if recruits don't want to come to LSU because of something they read on a fanboard then we have much bigger problems.
Lexapro, Cymbalta, Xanax, Zoloft, Effexor, Prozac, Paxil, Celexa, Valium, Ativan, Klonopin, BuSpar, Remeron, ... Did I miss any? You must be seeing a whole team of psychiatrists. :hihi:
deja ju, all over again! lsu has been enticing for recruits, primarily based on what we were. i hate to admit this is the way i feel. with the stupid coaching mistakes, lack of discipline, and refusing to let the best high school recruits play anything but spot duty will eventually mean we won't be getting the best. that kills me! last year at this time we had at least 3 5* recruits on our boards. right now, we have zero. sure, i agree crowton needs to be shown the exit but miles needs to get with the times. if your freshmen give you a better shot at winning, play them. don't burn their redshirts for a handful of plays. that will keep the pipeline stocked and make everybody happy.
Your nose is so brown you don’t know what you are talking about, since it was Nick’s third year and most of those players were his. In any event, had Les Miles become head coach in 2000 instead of Nick Saban, LSU never would have won mythical national championships in 2003 and 2007 period. As a matter of fact, had it not been for Nick Saban, LSU and Les Miles never would have won the mythical national championship in 2007. Indeed, Nick Saban had far more to do with it than Les Miles! Not to mention that we still had to back our way into that national championship game in 2007 thanks to Les Miles incompetence as a coach, and furthermore LSU was lucky they decided to stick with coach Jimbeaux Fisher’s offense in 2007 because if they had made the switch to coach Crowton’s offense they never would have won the West much less the SEC and the MNC. Moreover, if Nick Saban were still coach in 2005 and 2006 with the level of talent we had, I have no doubt that we would have won at least one more mythical national championship. Had Les Miles been hired in 2000 instead of Nick Saban, LSU would not have enjoyed nearly the success it enjoyed this decade.
