i'm still trying to figure out your definition of 'acceptance" as it isn't binary, but rather shades of grey. its easy to dislike things trump does but it's also easy to like his handling of china and enjoy the roaring economy.

To some degree yes. As I’ve stated many times there are quite a few things Trump has done that are good and I support. However I believe the balance goes significantly to the negative. By now I know it’s useless to argue details so don’t bother trying I won’t respond. Not only has has he done significant damage to the necessary structure and essence of our republic but he has weakened us as a world power even more than Obama did. Finally he is personally corrupt using the office to profit himself and his family but he has corrupted the Republican Party in ways that will significantly weaken it after he has left office.
I think the bad he is doing vastly outweighs the good.

As an additional point the Democrats are demonstrably worse by every measure. They are dangerous not only for their at least quasi-socialist economic philosophy but also for their statist fascist approach to governance.
If it appears they have a chance to control both senate and congress we have to vote for Trump as some sort of balance. Otherwise I hope to support a conservative who understands and will uphold the constitution and can bring sanity back to our political community.

but to be fair, this sounds like much of the media mantra without much substance. I've looked for evidence he's personally corrupted the office in order to profit himself but am having difficulty. Can you provide a couple of examples? Also, i'm having difficulty in determining just how America has been weakened as a world power under his watch. How has he done this?

Remember the pictures and videos of the rest of the G8 leaders laughing at him behind his back? Remember Kim telling him he wasn’t needed anymore? Remember Erdogan ignoring him about the S400s and attacking the Kurds?
    That enough evidence for you?

What about Trump talking shit about most everyone? Is he cool when he does it? Or are they cooler when they do it?

You see, for all the hate on Trump, he makes them show their true colors. How are those G8 members more "presidential" now?

The biggest reason that Trump should get another 4 years is Supreme Court appointments. Ruth Bader Ginsburg can die any day but conservative justice Clarence Thomas is 82 and will likely need to be replaced in the next few years. If some leftist wacko gets to do the appointing the balance of power would be tipped to the wacko side.

that's actually an indictment of what you seem to profess."World leaders laughing at him behind his back" were they laughing when he asked them to pony up more $$ for NATO, or when he stopped the caravans, or when he used the MOAB? "KIm telling him he wasn't needed anymore" you do realize that NK is a hostage-state of China and Kim is a puppet? Ask the Chinese how the trade talks are going? Trump has them in a no-win scenario and will ensure that the US will remain the world's greatest economy....how has the stock market performed under trump? Finally, withdrawing in the manner in which we did was not well thought out. trump made a mistake there by not, as far as we know, effectively working with the Kurds regarding the withdrawl. Having said that, once trump cautioned erdogan, didn't/hasn't turkey complied with the cease fire? I am not a trump apologist (although my 401k heartily approves) but really hesitate to throw out the baby with the bathwater.

Agree that’s one of his strengths.
