Well let me add to that story. A friend of mine who is a UF alum said that Richt did indeed tell his team in the locker room before the UF game that whoever is not on the field when they make that first touchdown was gonna be running laps.
both calls were BS. Watch replies of other tds today, there are celebrations on every TD. As long as it is not a taunt, it should be fine.
Richt seems like a coached very laxed on penalties. During the game, I can't remember if it was Danielson that mentioned something about talking to Richt about UGA's alarming penalty totals and Richt responded by saying that," it didn't bother him". Can't say I'm surprised....it's the same school that produced Odell Thurman.
of course they were. its ridiculous but nothing new. only thing worse is the 15 yarders on legit football hits. youre taught you are fair game in the field of play. the nfl qbs should wear flags now as well but thats another story. they said 10 per game. thats what les' teams usually average.
now here is a bit of a homer question but, CScott was out of bounds when he did his salute. The celebration is not on the field of play. So why the flag? If it happened on the sideline instead of the endline, would a flag be thrown?
I thought it was stupid because he was thanking God. Since when is it considered celebrating when you thank God? WTF? Was Martin the official or something?
yeah doesnt matter where. i suggest we teach our guys to grab their nuts and pose for the endzone camera. same result but more enjoyable. but only against florida of course.
