Either way, i seem to remember 2 face mask calls miss by the reffs for LSU in the first half so either way, LSU wins..
Am I in an alternate universe???? UGA fans bash their team for losing and for their lack of knowing of the rules yet LSU fans are bashing OUR players and coaches for winning a game in which UGA got penalized on a play and make excuse for WHY we won???
These penalties have gotten way out if hand in general, not speaking to this game in particular. However, I understand why they exist. If collegiate athletes worked more on improving their game and winning football games as a team instead of trying to make SportsCenter highlights, there wouldn't be a penalty for excessive celebration or possibility of refs calling it when it's not called for. Act like you've been there before, be happy you did well, run to the sideline and get a pat on the head from your coaches and dap or a chest bump from your teammates and get ready for the next possession. Don't pray. Don't dance. Don't run arourd like a chicken with your head cut off. Don't talk shyte to the fans. Don't mug for the TV cameras. Just play football. However, refs need to keep the flags in their pocket unless a player is blatantly disrespectful to the opponents or fans, or is conspicuously obnoxious. Let them play ball. Both calls were completely uncalled for. Bad calls are unfortunately a part of the game and go both ways. There are bad calls that are made or missed in every game. You've got to get over them even though they suck.
Well Scott pointed to the sky as in in praise of his god...think he and other players could get them on religious oppression?
Green just made one of the most incredible receptions he'll ever have in his college career to possibly win the game against the #4 team in the nation. I'm not sure what you wanted him to do.
Wonder if Mark Richt didn't possibly bring this on himself? Hear me out... Against UF he has his ENTIRE team run out and celebrate--demanding a penalty. Last week against ASU, his players were dancing around on the sideline of a 17-17 tie ball game. What does that have anything to do with play on the field? Well, I asked one of my co-workers who coached players like Rashad Jones in high school, and he said Richt TELLS his players to do such things.... Now, for the record, I think it's ridiculous the way refs refer to celebrations, but perhaps Richt has been bringing that attention on himself?
