I don't think the man is dumb. But he has to be the least intelligent-sounding president since the invention of TV.

I work at a trading desk, so we have CNBC on all day long. During his address to the nation in support of TARP, we were all interested to hear what the Harvard MBA had to say. He hit us with this: "You see, the banks, they're j-j-just not lending money to each other. And when they don't lend money to each other, it's not good." (Picture a lot of nervous body language).

Needless to say, I started a slow clap.

Ol' supa has been fairly acidic in his tone since he's moved to BR.

Yeah, I felt exactly the opposite when I stayed in the Morgantown Hampton for 3 nights and the Atlanta Sheraton overnight. :D

Woodrow Wilson is universally regarded as the worst US president. He was a socialist. Wait a minute... Anyone see a connection here?

Ole Rex is scratching his head and wondering who this Woodrow Wilson guy is.

    Try using google Rex....:hihi:

Look Rex...nothing personal...but saying that Bush is the worst president in the history of our country is ridiculous. I can't help but be critical. You could make the argument that he is the worst in your life time (not my opinion since you and I are close to the same age)...but no way is he the worst in history.

Their disapproval ratings were lower than Bush.

    Opinions differ.

It goes without saying. Why are "historians" commenting on present day events anyway?
